Closer to Nature
Whether you ride one of our gentle horses into the mountain and delight in the 180º, 70 miles-deep views of the Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna´s valley down below, or take a detour to freshen up yourself at the El Canto Waterfall deep in our reserve, odds are you’ll find yourself rejuvenated after immersing yourself in nature and bathing in the serene Costa Rican rainforest.
The best way to discover the flora and fauna of the region may be to hike down to the waterfall, via our accessible hiking trails. Just a half-mile long, they allow you to discover local trees such as
the Manú, Caobilla or Ojoche, and their importance to local animal species and human populations, learning about their uses while you marvel at the sight and sounds of the forest.
